I highly recommend you to update to the latest version of WordPress (stable version). Currently 5.3.2. This will help to ensure that you are able to utilize all of the latest features of WordPress.

Installing Homeland is just like installing any other WordPress theme. Its a simple process in the 5 steps below.

• Go to Appearance >> Themes
• Click Add New Button
• After that click the button "Upload Theme"
• Click "browse" button and new window will pop up, please select the zip files of the theme you want to install
• If everything is done please click the button "Install Now" button and then you're done...

Next is, we will activate the theme so that you can use it.

• Go to Appearance >> Themes
• Hover on the theme screenshot and click "Activate" button.

Once your done, their is a notification message that says "New theme activated." click on the link to visit your site.

We will first create the menu we want

• Go to Appearance
• After that click "Menus"
• Once you are their just click on "create a new menu" button in right area of the "Edit Menus" tab
• you will then see a textfield with "Menu Name", please enter your desire menu name
• once you already added menu name in your textfield, please click button "Create Menu"

• After that please select "Pages" box in left side boxes and check the pages you want to display in your "Menu Structure"
• After that please click the button "Add to menu"
• Once done you have the ability to drag and drop the menus (you can change order using this)
• In your Menu Settings below please check the box "Primary Menu"
• After you change order of the menus you can then click the button "Save Menu" and your done.

Just activate it in plugins directory and your done.

go to "Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS" and add your own customize code here, if it's not overwriting the old css code try adding (!important) at the last (ex: margin-top:2px !important;)

• go to "Appearance >> Customize >> Background >> Main >> Background Type" and select "Image"
• go to "Appearance >> Customize >> Background >> Main >> Background Image" and then click button "Select Image"
• and your Done

• Go to "Appearance >> Customize >> Advance Search >> Property Minimum Price >> Price Range" and add your price range. Example below

to add profile image, please register your email address here: Gravatar once email address is added it will automatically pulled/display your profile image to your site/theme.. or go to your edit user page and upload your avatar in "Custom Avatar" field below, click button Upload and Update User.

• In your Backend, go to "Partners" menu
• Click "Add New" link
• Add new data for the fields given like name, website link and image
• Once done just click button "Publish"

• Install it in your "Plugin" folder here "wp-content/plugins/"
• Once you already installed the plugin you need an activation key, get the key here: http://www.dsidxpress.com/tryit/
• Once done you are now free to use the IDX listings

• Go to "Settings >> General"
• Once you are their find "Membership" field and tick the box "Anyone can register"
• click "Save Changes" button and your done.

• Go to "Properties >> Add New"
• Fill all input fields on that page once done.
• Scroll down at the bottom and you will see box "Property Options" tick the box "Featured"
• click "Publish" button and your done.

• Please make sure you added your .po/.mo files in this folder "wp-content/languages", create languages folder if folder not exist.
• once done you can check your language selection here "Settings >> General >> Site Language"

Below are the steps on how to add bed and bath options in advance search.

• Go to "Appearance >> Customize >> Advance Search >> Property Bedrooms >> Bedrooms Options" and "Appearance >> Customize >> Advance Search >> Property Bathrooms >> Bathroom Options" and add numbers something like this:

• Add some space after the "comma"
• Once done click on the "Save Changes" button

Below are the steps on how to import our theme demo content

• Log into your site as an administrator.
• Make sure you activated the theme and plugins required before proceeding.
• Install this plugin: One Click Demo Import
• Once Installed go to "Appearance >> Import Demo Data" and then please read instructions above before proceeding.
• Click the button "Import Demo Data" and wait for few minutes. Please follow instructions properly so that importing demo data does not encounter any issues.
• DONE

Below are the steps where the homeland revolution slider demo import files located

• In your Download Package you will see folder "theme-demo-contents" open it
• Import this file "homepage.zip"
• Done

Below are the steps on how to change the google map color scheme and styles

• Go to "Appearance >> Customize >> General >> Google Map >> Map Styles"
• Get your desire google map color scheme here
• Copy and Paste the code given from snazzymaps into the map styles field.
• click button Save & Publish and your done.

Below are the steps on how to add new custom fields for custom post types, posts and pages. In this example, I will be using the Properties Custom Post Type.

• Go to "Properties >> Add New"
• In your top right screen you will see "Screen Options" and click it
• Once click it will toggle down and you'll see "Custom Fields" checkbox, just tick the box
• Once done, scroll at the bottom of your page and you will see "Custom Fields" box and now add your new custom fields.
• Once your done, click the button "Add Custom Field"
• Once done, click the button "Publish" to published your new post/page.

Once you already added it in your backend, it's now time to add it in your frontend, Just add the following code below. theme_example is your new custom field name.

Below are the steps on how to use the floating social post share in property and blog single page.

• Go to "Appearance >> Customize >> General >> Main >> Floating Share"
• and then select "Yes" in the select option
• click button "Save & Publish" and your done.

• And then drag and drop the widget you want to add as modal popup. Just add 1 widget only. This is good for newsletter or warning popup.
• click button "Save" and your done. (Note: leave it empty if you want to disable it)

• Enter the name of Title, Content and what ever fields needed (Portfolio Options).
• Select a Featured Image for your portfolio post
• Click Publish button when your done.

Below are the steps on how to add more portfolio images

• Click on Portfolio Menu
• and then click Add New.
• Enter the name of Title, Content and what ever fields needed.
• Click the button "Add Media" single or multiple images for your portfolio images.
• once thickbox popup just click "Upload Files" tab
• once their just click the button "Select Files" or drop the images and it will automatically uploaded
• Click Publish button when your done.

Now close the (x) button of the thickbox(popup)
Do not click the "Insert to post" button because we are not inserting the images into your post description.
Once thickbox(popup) is close click button "Publish"

• Click on Posts Menu
• Click Add New Menu in posts submenu.
• Enter the name of Title, Content and what ever fields needed.
• Select any of the 5 post format required (Standard, Image, Audio, Video and Gallery)
• Select a Featured Image for your blog post
• Click Publish button when your done.

Below are the following steps on how to create post categories

• Click on Posts Menu
• and then Select "Categories".
• Enter your desire name of your new category and the fill other fields.
• Click "Add New Category" button and your done.

Below are the following steps on how to post a video blog

• Click on Posts Menu
• Click Add New Menu in posts submenu.
• Enter the name of Title, Content and what ever fields needed.
• Click Featured Image (located right side) to create a video thumbnail and click "Set Featured Image" thickbox will pop up.
• Select a Video post format in "Format" box located in your right side
• Scroll at the bottom and you will see "Post Options" box and now select "Video" tab
• Click Publish button when your done.

• Click on Posts Menu
• Click Add New Menu in posts submenu.
• Enter the name of Title, Content and what ever fields needed.
• Select a Audio post format in "Format" box located in your right side
• Scroll at the bottom and you will see "Post Options" box and now select "Audio" tab
• Click Publish button when your done.

• once their just click the button "Select Files" or drop the images and it will automatically uploaded
• Click Publish button when your done.

Below are the following steps on how to create a post in property custom post type.

• Click on Properties Menu
• and then click on Add New
• Enter the name of Title, Content and what ever fields needed including custom fields.
• Add an image for each post at the right column (Featured Image)
• Click Publish button when your done.

Below are the following steps on how to create property image slider

• Click on Property Menu
• and then click Add New.
• Enter the name of Title, Content and what ever fields needed.
• Click the button "Add Media" single or multiple images for your property images.
• once thickbox popup just click "Upload Files" tab
• once their just click the button "Select Files" or drop the images and it will automatically uploaded
• Click Publish button when your done.

• You need to create a form first using contact form 7 plugin (You need to activate this plugin)
